The processing time, as of 2024, is around 6 months.

Manitoba’s PNP has 2 pathways prevalent for the applicants to choose from.

Process for Pathway 1

  • Expression of Interest must be submitted into the Manitoba Portal along with relevant documents supporting your EOI
  • Candidates who are well qualified and on to whom there is a confidence that they can perform the job, will get a nomination
  • Such candidates who have received the Manitoba province nomination, will have to apply for Permanent Residence Permit with the Canadian Federal Government.
  • After applying, an ITA will be sent.
  • After receiving such an ITA, you will need to submit your documents and other proofs along with an application.
  • The whole process will take anywhere between 6 months to 1 year to complete.

Process for Pathway 2

  • Your profile must be part of the Express Entry Pool. And such a profile should be attached with an EOI to relocate to Manitoba.
  • To qualify for this program, you must have a connection to Manitoba through family or friends.
  • After all the procedures attended, Manitoba filters your profile and sends you a nomination to apply for Permanent Residence Permit with the Federal Government.

Applicants will have to prove themselves in factors like age, education, work experience, language ability and financial standoff. Your score will be based on these factors.

Once you achieve your nomination, an additional 600 points will add to your base score which would help ease your chances to receive an ITA from the Federal Government.
