The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program was suspended in 2019 and relaunched on 1 January 2024 with a five-year investment of CAD 1,000,000 plus a CAD 200,000 non-refundable contribution, French-language requirements and a work-permit stage. The earlier description below is kept for reference.

Quebec Immigration & Investor Visa Program

Quebec immigration investment visa program is the only one of its kind in Canada. This program was especially designed to increase the investments in the Quebec province. This is the investment immigration scheme in Canada. This program does not require business nor points scoring.

You need to follow only one step to obtain you Permanent Residency Status. It is suitable for business or senior management too.

To qualify under this scheme

• You should have legally obtained net worth of a minimum of CAD $ 1,600,000.
• You should have experience in management in either commercial business or industry business or farming business. You can have experience in managing legal professional business
• You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in management and this experience should have been during the last 5 years prior to the date of application.
• Experience gained as a trainee or an apprentice will not be considered
• Your duties should have been related to planning, managing and controlling of the financial, material and human resources.
• You need to enter an agreement to invest CAD $1,200,000 (old value - $ 800,000) with a Canadian Financial intermediary authority who is either a broker or a trusted company, when you intend to settle in Quebec and participate in the Investor Program.
• Else, you can pay CAD $ 220,000 onetime interest instead through our arrangement with a financial intermediary

It takes around 4 to 5years to process the VISA.

The day you land in Quebec you will get your Permanent Residency Status

If you do not have business experience, it is alright to just show senior executive experience.
