Nauru's Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Programme was established by the Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Act 2024 and grants a distinct statutory class of citizenship for a single contribution. There is no residence requirement and no property route. An interview is mandatory for every principal applicant, though it may be held online. The programme's own FAQ puts travel access at over 85 destinations, naming Hong Kong SAR, Singapore and the UAE. The United Kingdom withdrew visa-free access on 9 December 2025, citing the programme itself, and there is no Schengen access because the EU visa waiver agreement contemplated by Annex II has never been concluded.
