For the past several years, Canada has been welcoming hundreds of thousands of new permanent residents each year, and it consistently ranks among the best places in the world to live, work and settle.
The Canadian Government introduced a new process, Express Entry, on 1 January 2015 for selecting skilled professionals and tradespersons who wish to immigrate to Canada and live and work there as permanent residents. In international rankings, Canada earns particularly high marks for access to education and high life expectancy. Canada has some world-class cities like Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal to live and work, for their cleanliness and safety, and for their cultural activities and attractive lifestyles.
